Restrictions: If the buyer agent commission being offered on the home you choose is less than 3%; you will only receive a credit for the amount of the commission that is above 2%. The maximum credit you will receive is 1% of your base purchase price. You will not receive any credit if the commission being offered is 2% or less of the base purchase price of the home. So, if the buyer agent commission on the home is only 2%, you will not receive any credit. If the commission is 2.5%, you will only receive a 1⁄2% of the base purchase price in credit towards you closing costs and prepaid items.

The buyer agent’s credit can only be used to pay your closing costs, discount points, and prepaid items. You cannot receive any cash.
